Little Bear loved the trumpet. He was learning to play it. But he was not a very good learner. Though he tried hard yet the sound Little Bear’s trumpet made was awful! Everyone had to cover his ears whenever he played. One day, the farmer was passing by Little Bear’s house. He heard the trumpet and an idea struck him. He asked Little Bear to come and practise in his field. In reality, he wanted to scare away the crows that were eating his crops. The crows did not like the music and flew away when they heard him play. Now Little Bear could practise playing his trumpet as much as he liked and everyone was happy too. There was no one to stop him. As for the farmer, he was the happiest as there were no crows to eat his crops. He grew a lot of crops.
