One day, Peter’s father announced, “I have made all the arrangements. We will be off for a holiday.” Excitedly, Peter started packing. His mother said, “Peter, don’t forget to take your umbrella, I’ve heard it rains at this time there.” Peter did not like to carry the bulky umbrella, so he didn’t pack it. Soon, Peter and his parents boarded the flight. Just as they landed, it started raining. The next day, it was raining again. Peter’s father said, “Peter, we both have our umbrellas and we are going out. Since you didn’t bring yours, you will have to stay in.” Peter said sadly, “I am very sorry. I promise I’ll always listen to you.” Peter’s parents were kind. They forgave him and bought him a new umbrella. Peter enjoyed himself, watching all the sights with an umbrella.
