There lived a little bear named Pomi, with his mother, who was very fond of birthday because he liked the cake very much. Pomi always kept waiting for his birthday because his mother made a palatable cake using ten dozen eggs, fifty pounds of flour, milk, vanilla and sugar. She stood on a chair and stirred hard with a big shovel. The cake took five hours to bake. Once it was the birthday of Pomi and his mother was preparing a cake for him.
Finally, the cake was prepared; only icing was left and the mother was about to put icing with vanilla and sugar. Then the delirious Pomi came to his mother running and jumped and landed right in the middle of the cake splattering the cream on his mother’s face. The mother and Pomi enjoyed eating the cake till their tummies allowed. Pomi kissed his mother, “Thanks, mother! This is the best birthday cake I’ve ever had.”
