Once, some hunters were chasing a deer. The deer ran as fast as he could to save his life. Soon, he came across a thick vine. He hid himself behind the large, leafy vine leaves. The hunters did not see the deer and ran past the vine. The deer was relieved that the hunters had gone away. But now he realized that he was hungry. All the running had made him hungry. He saw the juicy vine leaves and nibbled the leaves quickly. While the deer enjoyed the leaves, the vine leaves rustled. Unfortunately, the hunters returned at the same time and spotted the deer through the leaves. One hunter shot the deer with an arrow. The dying deer exclaimed, “I have been so ungrateful. If only I had not eaten what saved me, I would have been safe right now.”
