Lucy sat in the veranda of her new house, reading her favourite horror story. Her parents had gone to the market to buy groceries. Lucy was halfway through the novel when she heard a noise in the kitchen. The door of the refrigerator was open. Someone was munching loudly. As Lucy tiptoed into the kitchen, she saw an ugly goblin. She gasped and the goblin heard her. He ran after Lucy, but she locked herself in her room. She could hear the goblin howling and grunting as he wrecked furniture and broke things. Lucy was scared. She believed that the Goblin could easily break the door down. Just then, she heard her parents approaching the house. All was suddenly quiet. Lucy ran to her parents and started sobbing. When her parents saw what had happened in the house, they were shocked. That same day, they sold the house and moved into a new home.
