A bee and a spider despite being neighbours always fought a lot. One day, the spider shouted, “I am better than you! Look at my web. The different shapes and lines in it show my cleverness. I make it using my own body juices. But you steal nectar from the flowers!” The bee retorted, “I suck the juices without spoiling the lovely smell of the flowers. I build my hive with many perfect shapes, using better skills than you. Also, the wax from my hive is used in candles and polish. I make honey too. My work is far better than yours.” The spider still argued, “But my web is a piece of art – delicate and beautiful.” Then, the bee asked, “Tell me, if your web helps anyone in any way.” The spider had no answer to that.
