Many centuries ago, from the misty north, came the Vikings. People in the little fishing village had heard the stories of attacks on other villages along the coast, and were scared. One morning, a fisherman saw shapes emerging from the mist–it was a fleet of Viking ships! He quickly roused the other villagers. Within an hour, five huge Viking ships docked at the harbour. Ten minutes later, a horde of huge warriors with axes and swords trooped towards the village to plunder it. How could a handful of poor fishermen protect the village? When the Vikings were about ten feet away from the village, a huge fishing net fell on top of four attackers. The Vikings could not move or cut the net as when they tried to stand, they fell on each other. The four Vikings was trapped by the fishermen like fish in a net! Impressed by their bravery and intelligence, the Vikings agreed never to attack the village.
