Long ago, there was a lovely farm. The farmer was very proud of it. There were many plants and animals on the farm. Of all the plants, the farmer was very proud of his vine. It produced sweet and juicy grapes. Now, on that farm also lived a goat. The goat used to watch the vine every day from her pen. She wanted to taste the grapes but was unable to do so as the pen was always locked. But one day, the farmer forgot to lock the pen. Grabbing the opportunity, the goat quickly ran outside the pen and reached the vine. She started nibbling its leaves and fruit. The sad vine said, “Why do you eat me? Have you no pity? But I shall have my revenge. There will come a time when you will be sacrificed and my wine will be poured over you.”
