Once, there was a horse. He was a war horse. He was very strong and brave and was very proud of serving his country. He fought one war after another. Many years passed by. But with time, he grew old and weak. His rider realized that the horse was not fit to fight wars anymore. He took the horse to a mill and ordered him to work there. The horse became very sad because he did not want to work at the mill. He wanted to fight in the wars. Thinking about this, he began to cry. He moaned, “I wish to fight in the wars. I do not want to work in the mill. Oh! I wish I were young again!” The miller heard him and said, “Life is not the same. You are happy at times and sad at other occasions. So, stop crying!”
