Once upon a time, there lived a magician, Sam Ahmar. He became powerful after worshiping evil and so he started to consider himself the master of the universe. One day, his daughter Zarinpash told him that she was in love and wanted to marry her sweetheart. Ahmar got very angry. To punish his daughter, he created the enchanted desert. He then sent Zarinpash to live there. All the travellers who passed by were scared of that sight. Only brave Hatim dared to go near and even plunge into the lake to rescue Zarinpash. Stuck on that barren land for weeks, Hatim prayed to his benefactor. One day, a man dressed in green robes appeared. “You still have lots of work to do, so the Lord has sent me here to rescue you.” Saying so, he touched Hatim with a shaft. Instantly, Hatim was back in the desert next to the enchanted tree.
