Once, a cat named Kity lived in a house. In that house a group of mice also lived in a hole. Kity was very clever and always played tricks on others to have his meal. Kity was unknown that there lived a group of mice in the same house. One day she came to know about the mice and one by one Kity caught and ate them up. The mice were very frightened and decided to remain in their hole. Now the cat found it more difficult to catch mice, so she thought of a trick to befool them.
She climbed up the wall and let herself hang down by her hind legs to appear as if she were dead. She thought that she would be able to trap the mice in this way. After a little while, a mouse peeped out of his hole and saw the cat. He understood that the cat was trying to trick them. The mouse said, “Madam Cat, even if you turn yourself into food, we will not come near you!” The cat soon left the house and the mice were happy again.
