Once, there was a very nice elephant named Paddy. Now Paddy was a lover of Nature. He loved fresh air and green trees. He always kept his window open, whether it was summers or winters. During winters, it used to get very cold but Paddy never closed his window. Even when his friends complained about it, he did not close his window. He used to say, “Fresh air is good for everyone.” Now, one day, it was too windy. A strong gust of wind blew right through Paddy’s window, blowing everything over. The wind was so powerful that it blew Paddy and scooped him up and spun him round and round till he was quite dizzy. When the wind left, Paddy ran and quickly shut the window. He had learnt his lesson. Now he never kept his window open on a windy day.
