Once, there was a famous Greek speaker. He was known all over for his wise words. One day, he was delivering a speech. Many people had gathered there, but they were not listening to him. The speaker noticed this. He stopped speaking for a few moments. Then he said, “One day, there was a princess.” Everyone fell silent at once. The crowd was listening carefully now. He continued, “She met a prince.” After that he did not continue his story, but continued the speech he was giving before beginning the story. Now, all the people let out a great cry. All of them shouted, “But what about the story? What happened to the princess and the prince?” To this, the wise speaker replied, “All of you want to hear the end of a silly story, but no one likes to listen to the words of wisdom.”
