Once, a student had the craving to learn more. He went to a famous teacher and asked him to teach him everything he knew. The teacher smiled and told him to bring two cups and a pot of tea. The student brought the cups and the tea. The teacher smiled and poured tea into the student’s cup. But he kept pouring the tea and did not stop even when the cup started overflowing with the tea. The student was surprised. He told the teacher that the cup was overflowing. The teacher smiled and said to the student, “You are overflowing with knowledge as this cup is overflowing with tea. Now, you must put your knowledge to practice or it will get wasted like this tea.” The student understood the meaning of his teacher’s words and returned home a wiser man.
