The Zones of the Face

Geometry of the Face
Human characteristics and nature can easily be predicted on the basis of geometry of the face. The basis of face geometry for face reading is very easy and scientific. If you pay attention on geometrical outlines of the face of anyone, it comes to know that every face has been sketched on a specific geometrical frame. In other words every face has its own outline, which expresses any specific geometrical shape. These geometrical shapes have great importance in face reading
Man’s eyes are mostly habituated to see three dimensional pictures. Eyes see three dimension – depth, height, length at a time. Therefore, we should observe the face by frontal and lateral view, which is as follows :

Frontal View
Zonal distribution
Geometrical figuration

Lateral view
Camper’s Angle
Lateral curvature
Frontal view of the face

Height from chin to forehead and zonal development of the face are seen from frontal view. Face may be divided into three sub-zones. If we draw an imaginary horizontal line above the eyes and below the eyebrows and likewise another imaginary horizontal line below the nose and above the upper lip; the face will be divided into three zones which has been shown in figure 8. It is called zonal distribution of the face.
Details of characteristics and behaviour related to every zone are as follows :

Sl. No. Zone    Quality Behaviour

  1. Mental zone ‘Sata’
Highest intellectual and emotional development, idealness, morality, kindness, generosity, emotionality, simplicity, virtuousness, religious, philosopher, wise, researcher, artist, clairvoyant, sage, soft spoken, desirous to know immortal and eternal things, unworldly, great personality.
  2. Practical zone ‘Raja’
Industrious, businessman, ambitious, leading ability, cleverness, wisdom, capability to work as per situation, self-esteemed, conceited, dandy, luxurious, commanding nature, administrative capacity, straight forward, self control, man of principle, full of life force and self confidence, credible, achiever of success by virtue of firm determination and discipline.
  3. Basic zone ‘Tama’

If you notice the perspective of physiognomic development and the process of human development, you will find out that mental zone of the face of primitive ancestor of the man, who existed in the form of Lemur, was undeveloped. Their practical zone and outgrowth of the nose was not worth noting. But biological zone of the Lemur was well developed. Their snout and mouth were well developed and frontward projecting.
Chimpanzee and monkey were developed by the development of Lemur. Their foreheads were under developing stage. Their nose was appeared little protruding, but biological basic zone was extremely fatty and frontward projected. Ramapithecus, Australopithecus, Homo Erectus and Homo Sapiens came into existence in the series of development and their mental and practical zone gradually became developed. Basic zone started reducing in the same ratio. Eight important changes have been observed in the perspective of zonal division in the journey of development of human from Lemur, which signify human instinct along with the evolution process.
According to zonal division of human face, three characters ‘Sata’, ‘Raja’ and ‘Tama’ are existed in his nature. The determination of instincts of zones existed in zonal division can be done on the basis of this theory.

Mental zone : Mental zone or forehead zone represents satwik (virtuous) nature of the man. This is a zone of extension of brain. All the intellectual and spiritual faculties of the man are existed in this zone. Lord Shiva’s third eye, miraculous pituitary gland also exists in this zone. Therefore, it is called spiritual world. Entire nervous system of the man is regulated by this zone. All the experiences such as pain, sorrow, pleasure, regulation of the body and other activities are controlled by this zone.
When the mental zone is developed and lustrous, the effect of clairvoyant mental capacities do come in the nature and instinct of man. Such persons possess philosophic view towards the life. They are not conservative. They are optimistic and opulent with miraculous personality. Whosoever comes into the contact of such persons, are attracted towards them. These persons are the man of principles, genius, pioneer of religion, philosophy, elucidator, lover, kind-hearted and successful orator. They earn fame and respect in the society. Mutual love, brotherhood, becoming model among the public is the purpose of their life. Their words and deeds become an example for the society.
If mental zone is extremely developed, the person concerned suffers from mental disorders and his nature may be abnormal. Unfortunately, if they do not get an opportunity to be famous, they do not even hesitate to turn into notorious persons. Mental zone of terrorists, dacoits and fraudulent persons are abnormally developed. Such persons are wise, tantrik, opulent with mysterious powers, lonely lover, self esteemed, tyrant and dominating nature. They take a sigh of relief after defeating their competitor by fair or foul means. They do not like rules, principles and customs of the society, therefore, they are always seen angry, annoyed with an internal dilemma. Their works are abnormal and followed by logic based on idealness and philosophic thoughts. If their characters and thoughts are evaluated by philosophical point of view, they prove superior, but they are unsuitable by custom and tradition point of view. Their logic is beyond of understanding of common people, but their thoughts attain respect in future.
If mental zone of any person is less developed or undeveloped, his mental and intellectual capacity remains poor. You may have seen that mental zone of monkey and chimpanzee is very reduced (undeveloped). On being the mental zone reduced, all the characteristics of intellectual capability, morality and principality of the man represent themselves in reduced proportion. Such persons lead barbarian life and are unable to get any position and respect in the society. They always quarrel for their selfishness. It is a common matter for them to capitulate their body, mind, soul, morality and kith & kin to fulfill their selfishness. Persons of Lower class come under this category. Their mind always becomes restless and they are found short tempered. It is very difficult to say when and on which matter they will become angry or pleased.
Practical zone : Practical or nasal zone represents kshatriya nature or physical instincts. The persons, whose practical zone look developed, are very much practical in life. They know well the secret as to how and where adjustment can be made in various fields of life and business. When practical zone is developed, the person is more efficient. Such persons achieve success in the field of business, factory, agriculture, construction, politics, law, administration and military spheres. They have good term with prominent persons of the society. They have the capability to control the society as per their wish. Wherever they go, develop their own majority and establish themselves in good position.
They are gustatory, jovial and romantic. Luxury, magnificence and show are the part of their life. Once they make up their mind, they definitely accomplish the work. Yet they are basically desirous to govern the society. Respect and honour are very dear to them. They are ever ready to sacrifice all for the sake of respect. Some great qualities such as bravery, justice, patriotism, virtuousness and morality are found in their personality.
If practical zone of the person is more developed, he is more inclined to materialism. As a result he makes an issue out of trivial things for the sake of self respect and starts quarreling without any proper reason. He also does such works those are condemnable in the society for the sake of their dignity. The desire of getting fame makes him defamed. A craze is developed in his mind and he goes astray. If he is engaged in administration or politics, he can not tolerate the violation ocurred in compliance of rules and his orders and becomes tyrant losing patience. He does not confess his mistake any way. Autocrats, higher officers of the military and strict administrators come under this category.
When practical zone is reduced or in undeveloped state, the person has dearth of confidence, efficiency and understanding for adjusting himself according to the situation. Such persons are unable to implement their plans because of lack of confidence and understanding of situation. The decisions taken by him are mostly wrong. Therefore, they have to incur loss in the business and bear insult. They deceive themselves and others for the sake of extravagance and pomp and show. They like flattery and comfort. These persons are seen disappointed and unsuccessful due to impractical views towards life and society. Such persons are short-tempered and ambitionless.
Basic zone : Man’s tamsik nature exists in the basic zone. Information of mundane wishes and desires—anger, greed, affection is obtained from this zone. On being basic zone developed, a person indulges in materialistic and physical affairs. He ignores his mind and soul, but is keenly interested about his body. He seeks materialistic pleasure and has less care about the happening in the world. Mental level of such persons is not so much good and his behaviour is barbarian to some extent. They possess extraordinary physical capacity. They work as much as they can in comparison to their diet yet they do not utilize their brain. The aim of their life is to attain sensual pleasure. They are dull-minded, therefore they are free from mental problems. However instant effect of sorrow and pleasure can be seen in their face.
If basic zone is more developed, some instincts such as cruelty, bravery and brutality are excessively found in these persons. Such persons can also resort to murder to fulfill their materialistic desires. Basic zone of animals—tiger, monkey, chimpanzee is abnormally developed. If this zone is not properly developed, a person has lack of materialistic and physical desires. He suppresses his desires forcefully, but does not get rid of them. The mind of the person becomes frustrated due to suppression of their physical desires and this mental frustration forces him to lead disappointed life, as a result, the person diverts his mind from materialistic pleasures. The persons of ancient culture, who are not civilised yet, have extra developed basic zone. But the face of civilized have normal basic zone.
