Mostly, people are not capable to make use of the opportunity, in their ways. This deficiency many a time appears as a barrier in their path of success. Making the best use of the opportunity and changing plans to suit the occasions, and clearing the path, are some of the qualities of these people, who are highly successful. This has to be decided by us as to how and on which path to travel in order to achieve our goals.
Making the best use of time and opportunity is clearly visible from the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. It has not just out of blue, that Mahatma Gandhi on finishing his law studies jumped on the bandwagons of struggle for independence, to lead the countrymen. Nor was it that his sheer appearance on struggle for independence grew manifold. Gandhi whatsoever step he undertook, was well planned, discussed, thought over, and well predicted of the consequences, for his goal was very clear and distinct. He was very clear in mind and heart that the task, he had undertaken, had many obstacles on the path. He was also clear about time factor, which would constitute the major part. He candidly understood the tasks of freeing the motherland from the Britishers and finally did succeed in achieving his goal.

“A person who can instantly understand the gist of the subject, listens with concentration only those words which are beneficial and leaves the rest aside, and begins the work after thoroughly thinking on all angles, and does not dispose of the work without completion and does give his opinion unless asked is a truly intelligent person.”

Utilization of labour succeeds with the ability to take a decision. People working with high concentration and full dedication overcome half of the difficulties immediately there and then itself. In other words, patience is only the key which opens the doors to success. Persons surrounded in condition of worries, tensions, dissatisfaction, anxiety and uneasiness, to succeed in achieving their goals always remain a far-fetched goal only. We should also clearly understand that opportunity is not alike bread or curry which may be served to you in a platter and on consuming the same you are able to develop your qualities. Bhagwati Prasad Vajpayee, in his book Karam Path comments:–”Only those persons keep on cribbing and blaming the circumstances, who blame difficulties responsible for their destruction and sorrows, and in case under adverse and difficult conditions, we resolve solemnly to be fully determined, then these dangerous and emergency situations can prove to be fruitful and favourable. To make out the best of the worst circumstances is the work of highly successful and intelligent persons. All difficult situations try to challenge patience and strength.
When actor Wilfton Crawford started to act, people were of the opinion that he could never act, but Crawford decided never to quit and he regularly kept on improving and finally one day he became a leading star of New York. The formula of the success of Crawford was that he channelized all his energies towards the attainment of his goal. A few persons look so inactive and unimpressive, that a feeling instantly arises, that these people will never do anything. Unenthusiastic people believe that riches and wealth all are made for lucky persons only, who have inscribed in their destiny. They do not make any efforts to accomplish their ambitions. Such people are often engaged in laborious jobs only. Such people begin their lives in such a manner that they keep working throughout as labourers and lose their lives. Had they chosen a single objective and worked towards it, they would surely had enjoyed the fruits today.
Life filled with fair emotions, leads towards progress always. Efficiently regularly and continuously improving upon, is the true meaning of a progressive personality. He who continuously improves upon his knowledge area of operation, and improves his horizons of knowledge, achieves an extreme level of satisfaction which cannot be received from anything else. There is no creditable aspect more important and impressive than spreading the effects of our aggressive personality. Regularly working and always a victorious person rules upon his sub-ordinates. Ever since childhood, such thoughts should be put in the child’s mind, which leads to a meaningful and purposeful life. The body and soul should so be united that it regularly takes interest in victory. This key note should always be kept kindled in the brain of a child that he is born for victory only. In case we are able to influence our children with the feeling of victory, they would understand the meaning of self-respect, and would be able to accept and meet the challenges of life more efficiently and effectively. This is the most important factor to educate children and to prepare them for there future lives. To live a balanced life in harmony with your physical development, it is more important to co-ordinate your mental activities first, followed by physical aspect. Your relations with the people, who are in regular contact with you in this society, your relations should be very cordial. Your relations with your family members should be very judicious, then only you can maintain balanced relations with the other people of the society. We should be victorious in all the directions and for that we should shun away the negative qualities such as jealousy envy, etc. from our mind. Our image should be a peaceful and responsible person. The history of hardworking, and cheerful people tells us that in order to be a successful and impressive person, you should cultivate valour, wisdom and courage on regular basis. Whatsoever you wish to do or whatsoever you want to be, these three factors are of the utmost importance. Those people who very recently have stepped on to the path to success, they should not be of the opinion that I should not be successful in this job. These people who carry the thought that it will not be considered a good start, a person filled with such thoughts, shall never be successful.
Principles of Truth
Those who leave their tasks for others to accomplish, and have not fixed any goal whiling away their valuable time, who undertake a piece of work without thinking, who begin the work, but on facing difficulties leave the job incomplete and are unable to accomplish any task in a proper way, no one is impressed by these people anywhere, any time.
