Once upon a time, there was a tiger. He had grown old and he could not hunt anymore. He wandered about in the forest and came to a swamp. A gold bracelet lay near by. The tiger had an idea. He sat in the swamp with one paw up in the air, holding the bracelet. Then he shouted, “This gold bracelet will bestow its wearer with magical powers! Come and take it!” A traveller heard the tiger and said, “I want it.” The tiger said, “It’s all yours! Take it.” The traveller asked, “What if you kill me?” The tiger said, “Earlier, I used to harm others, but I have turned old now.” The traveller went into the swamp to get the gold bracelet and he got stuck in the mud. The tiger had been waiting for this. Immediately, he pounced on the traveller. Once a killer, always a killer.
