Time is Precious

We often hear people complaining, “I don’t have enough time.” This is to be expected in foreign countries where the pace of life is faster. Yet there are people who are able to accomplish things they set out to do no matter how busy they are. What is the problem with most of us? After all, we each get the same twenty four hours a day.
The key to solving the problem is managing the time efficiently. Time is precious. Once lost, it can never be recovered. Neither does time stand still. It is therefore vital to get the most out of time we have.
Experts have listed many ways in which we can maximize the use of time. One suggestion is to make a list of the jobs to be done. The tasks must be listed in order of importance, with the most important at the top of list. This will help us ensure that time is devoted to the more important tasks first. The list could be drawn up daily or on a weekly basis, but it should be followed strictly.
Students like us should make sure that time in school is well spent. Paying attention in class helps us save time as we learn more when we listen closely. If we understand a lesson in class, there is no need to go over the lesson at a later time. Free periods could be utilized to do homework or for reading.
Steps could also be taken at home to reduce waste of time. These include limiting time spent on telephone conversations and watching television, and organizing and carrying out household chores more efficiently.
