Obeying the orders of the lion—the forest king, the fox invited the stork to dinner towards the settlement of certain disputes peacefully, even though he did it half-heartedly. The fox prepared a tasty soup and served it up on plates. The stork much to his embarrassment was hardly able to have any of it.
Like a true guest, the stork thanked the fox for the tasty dinner he had served, and left.
Next, it was the turn of the stork to invite the fox to dinner. The stork too cooked a very delicious meal, but he served it in narrow- mouthed jars. The fox to his embarrassment found it hard to insert even his nose into the utensils. He had to leave almost hungry.
Playing dirty tricks on others may bring equally dirty responses.
Moral : As you sow, so shall you reap.
