Each day, Hatim came closer to his destination. His faith in God kept him moving. When he walked out of the strange jungle through the shorter route, the people of the adjoining city were surprised to see him. In their life they had never heard of a man who had crossed that path alive. They gathered around Hatim and asked for a detailed account of his adventures. The king too heard the news of his adventures. He met Hatim and was satisfied that he was neither a genie nor a magician. The king then heard the tales of Hatim’s adventures and asked him why he was travelling all alone. Hatim told him he was going to the city of Katan to see the Bath of Badgard. The king tried his best to stop Hatim, but when he did not agree, he sent two of his bravest men to escort him to the city of Katan.
