Tower Bridge

The Tower Bridge is a bascule and suspension bridge constructed over the Thames River in London between 1886 and 1894. The Tower Bridge comprises two towers that are connected together by a walkway at the top of the towers. The Tower Bridge is the only bridge on the Thames that can be raised and lowered to allow ships to pass. The total height of the bridge is 65 metres and its length is 244 metres.
