You will need:

1 Pen and paper
2 Marker pen
3 Measuring tape
4 Trees

It is easy to guess the age of human beings and
even animals. But how would you guess
how old a plant or tree is?

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The trick to find out the age of a tree is easy.
  2. Firstly, ask a friend to help you. Shortlist a few tree which you may want to measure. Remember each tree should be at least 6 feet tall.
  3. Next, take your measuring tape and with the help of a friend measure the circumference of the tree at the base.
  4. The base of the tree will be the area where the tree is generally the widest.
  5. Measure the circumference at the base of all the trees and note it down.

RESULT

The measurement of the circumference of the tree should be in inches. This measurement will be the approximate age of your tree. The measurement in inches is the approximate number of years of the tree.
