Tubby, the Forgetful Boy

Jim and Sara were playing in the garden when they saw a squirrel. The squirrel called out, “Hi! My name is Tubby.” Jim replied, “I am Jim and this is my sister Sara. What are you doing?” Tubby replied, “I am storing food for winter. As there are plenty of animals doing the same, I need to hurry up before it finishes.” Sara and Jim decided to help the squirrel. The squirrel accepted their help gladly. Tubby said, “I am putting my food in the hole of the tree.” He pointed to the hole. Soon, the children were busy helping the squirrel. But it seemed that Tubby was a forgetful little fellow, for he forgot where he was keeping the nuts. The children laughed and showed him the hole. Tubby remarked, “I think I am going nuts!”
