3.8 to 5 mm in length, this rounded beetle prefers to live in terrestrial and arboreal areas. Its diet is comprised of mealybugs, scales and aphids. This beetle is beneficial to reduce pest from orchards and citrus groves. However, the use of pesticides and insecticides has reduced the population of this beetle in the wild.
