Both were not happy as they didn’t have a child even after years of marriage. He prayed to God and trusted Him. Soon she became pregnant. One day, God said that she had twins and they both were rivals, and they were supposed to rule different nations. Soon the babies were born and the elder baby was Esau and the younger one was Jacob. Esau was a strong man, who spent most of his time on fields, while Jacob was a quiet man. One day, Esau was very hungry and had nothing to eat at all. It was then he saw Jacob cooking some soup and wanted him to feed him. Jacob asked his brother to give him his birthright. Esau was too hungry, so he gave it to him.
