The Valley of the Mill is an abandoned mill built in Sorrento, Italy, in the 900s. The Valley of the mill comprises a mill complex that consisted of a flourmill that was adjacent to a sawmill and a public washhouse. However, in 1866, with the creation of Tasso Square, the mill area was cut off from the sea, which made it extremely humid and as a result, it had to be abandoned.
Amazing Fact: Situated in a deep canyon, the complex amidst all the greenery creates a hauntingly beautiful tourist attraction.
