The Vermilion Cliffs National Monument comprises constantly eroding cliffs situated on 2,93,689 acres, in Arizona. Made of sandstone, silts tone, limestone and shale, the steep Vermilion Cliffs rise as high as 3,000 feet above their bases. But what makes these rocks incredible is not the fact that they have been eroding for millions of years, but rather how beautifully they have been eroding leaving behind the rich layers of coloured rock strata.
