Ten years had passed since Isha and her friend Riya left school. Isha used to wonder how Riya was until they chanced upon each other in the market one day.
Isha promised to visit Riya the coming Sunday morning. So on the appointed day, Isha drove her car into the housing estate where Riya lived. Ten years was a long time and the once-familiar surroundings had changed drastically. Everything seemed strange. Isha tried to look for familiar landmarks but she could not see any.
She drove in the direction that she thought was the way to Riya’s house, but the more she drove the more she realized that she did not know where she was. She was lost. It was incredible how she could lose her way in a place that once she knew like the back of her hand, but the fact remained that she was lost.
There was only one thing to do, and that was to call Riya and ask for help. Thank God for the mobile phone. She parked her car by a mini market and made the call to Riya. Riya said she would come to the mini market.
A few minutes later, Riya appeared in her car. Isha was very relieved. She followed Riya to her house where the two friends renewed their friendship over a cup of tea.
