Where do Angler Fish Live?

There are about 200 Angler Fish living in the Atlantic and Antarctic Oceans. They prefer to hide at depths of the sea. Besides their very unique appearance, Angler Fish are also known for their hunting method. They have the ability to move their flesh in different directions without actually moving their bodies. When they are deep in the sea, their ability to move their flesh emits light. So, they glow. Some angler fish are pelagic (dwelling away from the sea floor) while others are benthic (dwelling close to the sea floor). There are others found on the continental shelf.
