Where is the Largest Glacier?

The world’s largest glacier is the Lambert Glacier. It is located in Antarctica. The glacier is more than 60 miles (96 kilometres) wide at its widest point, about 270 miles (435 kilometres) long, and has been measured to be 8,200 feet (2,500 metres) deep at its centre. The Lambert Glacier runs along part of the Lambert Graben. Every year, 35 square kilometres of ice from this glacier goes into the Prydz Bay.
