High in the hills there lived a prince who had a great wish to go to the moon. When he reached there, he discovered that the moon shone because of the light that was emitted from the beautiful daughter of the moon king.
The prince fell in love with her. But as the earth and the moon are two different worlds, the two lovers had to part with heavy hearts. While the prince was departing for the earth, the moon king’s daughter presented lovely flowers to the prince. The prince came back to the earth with the flowers. These flowers are now known as Alpine flowers.
Moral : Never judge a gift by its value.
