Dreams are hallucinations or images that we see during certain stages of sleep. They could be pleasant, nightmarish or just random and disjoined thoughts. Dreams are the most vivid during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, which you might not have any recollection when you wake up. There are multiple theories regarding our dreams. However, the strongest opinion is that we dream about things or events of our life. When we sleep, our life is still active. Therefore, our dreams might be helping us store information of past events, sort out unnecessary information and even help facilitate our creative tendencies.
