Long ago, the Sun and the Moon lived together on the earth. The Water was their best friend and they often visited him. But the Water never went to the Sun’s house. So, one day, the Sun asked the Water, “Why don’t you come to see us?” The Water replied that the Sun’s house was not big enough as the Water had many friends. The Sun would have to build a big house. The Sun agreed. The Water came with fish and all the water animals. They began to flow in and soon the water was knee-deep in the house. Now, the Water was up to the Sun’s head and came higher and higher. At last, The Water was so high in the house that the Sun and the Moon had to go and sit on the top of the roof. But, when the Water came up on the roof, the Sun and the Moon went up into the sky. Since then, they had been living there.
