Wilbur Wright

Wilbur-Wright

Wilbur Wright was born on the 16th of April 1867 in Indiana, U.S., and passed away on the 30th of May 1912.

Do you know that it was a coin toss that decided which of the Wright brothers would get to fly the Wright Flyer first? And Wilbur lost the toss.

Wilbur Wright along with his brother Orville was responsible for inventing and building the first ever controlled and powered aeroplane in 1903. Both brothers are considered aviation pioneers, even though they flew together only once in their life.

Famous Quote: “It is possible to fly without motors, but not without knowledge and skill.”
