The Yuyuantan Park is one of the major urban parks located in Beijing, China. Also known as the ‘Jade Deep Lake Park’, the Yuyuantan Park covers 137 hectares area with 61 hectares covered by water. The scenic Yuyuantan is a calm pond situated within the park and literally means the jade deep pond. The pond has been a favourite scenic spot since the 12th century, and till date attracts visitors from all over the world, specifically for its famous ‘Cherry Blossom Festival’ that is celebrated every spring.
