Mittal and Bhatia families had known each other even before Vanisha and Amit love blossomed. The families were known to each other when L.N. Mittal had been living in India. Aditya, Amit and Vanisha had been together and grown up alongside one another for all those teenage years.
Amit is the son of Arun Bhatia a Punjabi origin resident of Delhi. Bhatias have prospering real estate business in Delhi. Amit did his primary schooling in British school of Delhi. For higher education Cornell University of London was chosen. After education Amit worked in a reputed bank. Currently he functions as in investment banker.
Amit’s mother is Renu Bhatia who belong to a Punjabi NRI family settled in London.
While his days in Delhi Amit was attracted towards sports. He played cricket from Blue Club. When he went to London his interest in cricket continued. Then tennis fever gripped him and led him to Junior Wimbledon to get him into the news. He has been a good squash player too. This interest of Amit Bhatia in sports got him in touch with Mittal Sports Trust that worked for the advancement of sports in India. That is where Amit Bhatia came close to Aditya and Vanisha. Being youngsters Aditya and Vanisha were naturally interested in sports. They think sports is vital part of life that infuses one with energy and zest for other activities of the professional part.
Vanisha and Amit developed friendship and it continued for a long time during which they developed intimacy. Having known each other well and being in love they decided to get married to make a mixed doubles pair. The families had no objection to their union. Both families were familiar to each other and the members of modern outlook. The marriage of Amit and Vanisha was a grand affair which we have already detailed in a previous chapter. Now both are leading a happy life. After marriage Vanisha is engaged in developement of life in remote rural areas of the country.
